Millennium Health is sponsoring a presentation, Fraud and Abuse: Incentives Driving up Medicaid Costs, presented by Ronald Wisor, Partner, Hogan Lovells; and Blair Todt, Chief Strategy and Development Officer, WellCare. The presentation will take place during Medicaid Health Plans of America’s Annual Conference.
As part of Millennium Health’s commitment to combating the high cost of fraud and abuse, the session will educate attendees on the multiple areas where clinician incentives are driving costs for Medicaid. The session will also utilize a case study of the drug testing industry, which is expanding rapidly in response to the mounting crisis of opioid abuse and drug diversion.

This free, one-hour webinar entitled Integrating Drug Testing Into Psychotherapy: Critical Conversations, will be presented by Millennium’s Kenneth L. Kirsh, PhD, on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m. (PT)/ 1 p.m. (ET). Laboratory testing can provide scientific, specific and accurate evidence of actual substance use beyond what is likely to be detected in office based point of care assays. This session will review how the treatment professionals can use this information to alter their therapeutic approach and help those who are relapsing to regain their sobriety. This session will focus on how to integrate testing results into psychotherapy in a positive way, including how to introduce drug testing as a client advocacy tool, and approaches to critical conversations when faced with unexpected drug test results.
