SAN DIEGO – April 6, 2017 – Millennium Health, a leading health solutions company, has received accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) with zero deficiencies. Millennium Health has been CAP accredited since 2011, demonstrating continued excellence in services provided.
During the CAP accreditation process, which is designed to ensure the highest standard of care for all laboratory patients, inspectors examine the laboratory’s records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. CAP inspectors also examine laboratory staff qualifications, equipment, facilities, safety program and record, and overall management. The U.S. federal government recognizes the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program as being equal-to or more stringent than the government’s own inspection program.
“The fact that no deficiencies were found during our CAP inspection reaffirms what we set out to do every day – provide the highest quality of service for our customers and their patients,” said Ron Rittenmeyer, Chairman of the Board and CEO, Millennium Health. “This recognition is a result of our team’s commitment and dedication to excellence.”
