Millennium Health Selected for the UnitedHealthcare Preferred Lab Network
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – August 31, 2022 – Millennium Health is pleased to announce that for the third year in a row, we have been chosen to be a part of the UnitedHealthcare Preferred Lab Network (PLN). Millennium Health has the distinction of being the first specialty toxicology laboratory in the PLN.
Being designated a Preferred Lab Network member reflects Millennium Health’s steadfast commitment to clinical excellence and its reputation as a leader within the industry. Participation in the Preferred Lab Network aligns with UnitedHealthcare’s focus on improving health care affordability, outcomes and the patient experience.
As part of the PLN, Millennium Health will help UnitedHealthcare providers monitor their patients’ use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs through its drug testing services. According to UnitedHealthcare, clinicians ordering lab services through the PLN are likely to receive better health care value through improved access, quality, and service at a lower cost.
