U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Awards Millennium Health with Federal Supply Schedule Contract for Pharmacogenetic Testing

SAN DIEGO, Calif. October 4, 2017 – In 2013, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Acquisition and Logistics National Acquisition Center awarded Millennium Health, a leading health solutions company, a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract V797D-30178 under schedule 621II Medical Laboratory Testing and Analysis contract. Recently, VA modified Millennium’s FSS contract to add its pharmacogenetic test, Millennium PGTSM. Clinicians may now use the test to help individualize prescription medication decisions for veterans, in the areas of mental health and pain management. The Veterans Health Administration operates the nation’s largest integrated health care system with more than 1,700 health-care facilities across the country and serves nine million enrolled veterans each year.

‘If Only’ Movie Featured on Fox San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – June 8, 2015 – Millennium Health and the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation will premiere “If Only”, a movie about the dangers of youth misuse and abuse of prescription drugs, Monday, June 8, at 7 p.m. at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla. The film and a discussion toolkit will be available online as a component of the Drop Them Off campaign that launched earlier this year. The campaign aims to increase awareness among teenagers, parents and the public about the importance of ensuring safe use, storage and disposal of prescription drugs.

Campaign aims to educate teens about dangers of prescription medicine misuse and abuse

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – February 3, 2015 – Millennium Health, a leading health solutions company, today announced the launch of the ‘Drop Them Off’ campaign, in partnership with the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation and the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids’ Medicine Abuse Project.
